Scholz Announces Largest Industrial Modernization In German History

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated on Tuesday that the country must address its largest industrial modernisation since the late 19th century in addition to the present energy problem.

« This project is unheard of. Since the significant period of German industrialization and expansion at the end of the 19th century, this is undoubtedly the largest industrial modernization in Germany. Not everything will have changed in under 22 years, but a lot will, » Scholz stated at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry DIHK’s anniversary celebration.

In contrast to some experts’ forecasts, Scholz claims that Germany has already avoided a severe recession and is no longer dependent on Russian energy suppliers.

In order to become self-sufficient, make a « great breakthrough » in innovation, and modernize its economy in the future, Germany will boost the quantity of power and hydrogen it produces, Scholz added.
