Salvini Urges To Be Wary Of China In The Market
Matteo Salvini, the head of the Lega Party in Italy, warned against doing business with China and referred to it as the industry’s top rival.
According to Salvini, « China is going to be our primary competitor in the near future. We should be terrified of it since it is not a democracy and they are preparing to invade the European market with their goods and products, starting with the automotive sector with the new trend of electrification. »
The most recent surveys show that the center-right coalition, which also includes Matteo Salvini’s Lega and Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party, has the best chance of winning the Italian elections on September 25.
After Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi announced his resignation on July 20, President Sergio Mattarella issued a proclamation calling for early legislative elections to be held on September 25.
