Italian President Did Not Accept Resignation Of Prime Minister Draghi
Prime Minister Mario Draghi’s resignation has not been accepted by Italian President Sergio Mattarella, reported The Quirinal Palace’s press office.
In order to analyze the situation following a meeting today in the Senate of the Republic, Italian President issued an invitation to the Prime Minister to appear in front of Parliament.
Draghi had earlier informed the Council of Ministers of his intention to step down. He might resign together with the Italian administration.
