EU Imposes Duties On Indonesian Palm Oil Products
In order to protect its market from competition, the European Union placed anti-dumping taxes on fatty acids from Indonesia, one of which is palm oil.
« Dumping imports hurt the EU industry since it was unable to match the prices of Indonesian acids. The EU lost market share as a result of this. » According to a paper posted on the European Commission website, fatty acids are frequently utilized in foods, cosmetics, and medications.
The range of the imposed duties is 15.2% to 46.4%.
