Annual Inflation In Greece Hits 11.6% In July

Greece’s statistics agency Elstat said on Monday that the country’s inflation rate in July was 11.6 percent compared to 12.1 percent in June.

Natural gas had the largest price increase, at 178.9 percent, followed by diesel for heating at 65.1% and electricity at 55.8%.

In comparison to June 2022, the aggregate consumer price index for July 2022 showed a reduction of 1.8%.
